This file (AVIDemo.avi) was recorded directly from the screen during the work of the demo-project (Demo1) included in the download package. The resulting AVI file was huge - 51 Mb. Each frame of the file was reduced to a quarter of its original size. The resulting AVI file (31 Mb) was compressed using the WinZIP program. AVIDemo.avi demonstrates some features of the PixeLook library. An AVI file was opened in the Advanced Image Viewer. While the AVI file is playing the user performs the following actions: runs image rotation plugin and ‘rotates’ the AVI file switches to the Histogram tool and observes a histogram of several frames turns on thresholding layer and selects ‘Otsu’ thresholding method selects a new region where thresholding is performed manipulates color channels switches to the Projection tool and observes projections of the selected region turns on axes on projection plots selects non-rectangular region and observes normalized projections switches to the Aperture tool manipulates image channels and observes numerical values of image pixels under cursor switches to the Profile tool draws an arbitrary curve and observes a pixel profile along the curve switches to the XY-Profile tool and observes horizontal and vertical profiles determined by the mouse changes the width of the profiles switches to the Surface tool and selects a small image region visualizes the region as a 3D-surface moves and rotates a point of view moves the mouse and observes its motion on the surface switches to the LUT tool and performs different LUT-transformations switches to the Scattergram tool and observes the scattergrams of the image region in equalization mode switches to the Image tool and runs Warping plugin sets three vectors which are used to ‘warp’ AVI frames performs zoom in and out displays the image information panel
